Writing words and lists for building wellness
mine and others

Ayurvedic Articles
my article on the impacts of trauma and personality on digestive disorders and Ayurvedic wisdom to manage.
I’ve learned some more since I wrote this from other cultures and will add over time.

Trauma Sensitivity/my not trauma sensitive call out. (Resource for teachers) I wrote this to call out a few years ago, rather than call in. If you have trauma it’s not necessary to read this, but if you are harming others, give this a go and be kind to me and yourself while you process.

Songs and words for the compassionate.

Four. Forgive. Realize that some people are still learning. If forgiveness is not possible, then think of everything you have ever wanted to be forgiven for, but weren’t. Hold that uneasiness in your mind until you feel the desire for absolution becoming a wish. Realize you can grant this wish for others. If you are waiting for forgiveness, be prepared to wait. Be prepared to stand in the path of time and wither. Respect that forgiveness is difficult. Not all trespassers are equal and not everyone will heal according to your schedule.
“And all the things you thought were true when I was young and you were too turned out to be broken and there is something wrong with that. So before you go out searching don’t decide what you will find, be more kind my friends, try to be more kind.
…In a world that has decided that it is going to loose its’ mind, be more kind my friends try to be more kind.”
-Frank Turner
You saw through me, all this time, I’d forgotten people are kind. I was hurting and you knew, so you showed me what to do. You said,”I will listen, tell me it all. When you are finished, we’ll talk more.” But I didn’t know how, so we took it in turns and to my surprise I found my words.”-Dodie
but I wish I could give you the eyes in my head and let you trace your own figure with my fingertips we’re stuck in these bodies and I know that won’t change so I’ll just have to love you this way oh I’ll just have to love you this way. — Son of Cloud

“World, I want to leave you better. I want my life to matter and then together we can do anything. You’re not alone in all this. You’re not alone I promise and then together we can do anything.”

“Loving, we are learning…speak volumes of tomorrow when you are fluent in forgiveness.
And sometimes, only sometimes, they begin to wonder,
What their ten year old selves would have said to one another.
Like…
I wish I had the wingspan to soar you to what’s after. Like I wish I could just swoop you up and wrap you in my laughter.
Like I wish I could return you to this earth in just my palm.
Like if my palm could be your satellite and your job to just hold on.
But your survival will be grace making.
Yes, your arrival will be breath taking.
And I will be here when you beat fear,
When you reach here;
When you find me.”
-Alix Olsen
There are three things I do when my life falls a part.
First, I cry my eyes out and dry out my heart.

The second thing I do is I close both of my eyes and say my thank you’s to each and every moment of my life.
I go where I know the love is and let it fill me up inside.
Gathering new strength from sorrow,
I am glad to be alive.

things are looking up.

The third thing that I do when my world caves in,
Is that I pause,
I take a bow
and I let the chapter end.
I design my future bright not by where my life has been,
and I try, try, try, try,
Try again.”
